VISION

Become an internationally recognized quality-research University in the top-5 ranked Universities in Saudi Arabia.

MISSION

Promote the ranking of Prince Sultan University and its scientific reputation in the world through transparent and automated research processes focusing on the research areas’ strengths of the University.

STRATEGY

The aim of the new research strategy at Prince Sultan University is to decentralize the research activities at the University to the college level, to reduce the duplication and overhead, to ease the research process, and to identify PSU strength and set distinguished research themes driven by these strengths.

OBJECTIVES

  • Promote research, excellence, and innovation in the University community.
  • Explore practical research problems that address the community needs.
  • Promote collaborative and interdisciplinary work.
  • Raise the scientific impact and feasibility of PSU and have research to be an added value to PSU achievements.
  • Enhance the research infrastructure for professional development.
  • Generate financial revenue for PSU, through external grants, consultation, possible training, commercialization.
