About the Award
Best Research and Initiatives on AI for Sustainable Societies Award at Prince Sultan University (PSU). This award intends to recognize and applaud groundbreaking research and innovation that merge Artificial Intelligence (AI) and sustainability principles to devise innovative solutions for modern societies.
MISSION
The AI2S initiative focuses on multiple research axes to address sustainability challenges through AI-driven solutions. These include, but are not limited to:

Eligibility Criteria

The award is open to all faculty members and researchers at Prince Sultan University.

Submissions should be original research conducted within PSU's labs.

Collaborations are acceptable, with external PSU members constituting less than 25% of the team.

The work can range from research papers, AI algorithms, sustainability-driven AI solutions, and patents, to any innovative work falling under the AI2S umbrella.
Submission Requirements

A video presentation (max 3 minutes) detailing the AI and sustainability aspects of the work.

A 1-page brochure encapsulating the project's essence.

Additional supportive documents: research papers, patents, algorithms, etc.

Online form submission is mandatory for application.

Submissions will be evaluated by three external reviewers based on:
