Celebrating Another Year of Exceptional Research Achievements at PSU in 2024

We are delighted to share the outstanding research achievements at Prince Sultan University for 2024. Thanks to the dedication and excellence of our entire PSU community, we have continued to build on our past successes and reach new heights. Below are the major milestones of this remarkable year:

New Publication Milestone
- We have set a record with 1,492 Scopus-indexed publications, marking a 459% increase since 2018. Impressively, 85% of these publications have been recognized in the esteemed Scopus Q1 and Q2 categories.

Leading National and Global Stature
- PSU is now ranked #1 among Saudi universities for research quality.
- We ranked #3 for publications per faculty member in the national rankings.

Notable Intellectual Property Achievements
-We secured two patents, three industrial designs, and nine copyrights from the Saudi Authority for Intellectual Property (SAIP).
