52 PSU Researchers Featured in Stanford’s World’s Top 2% Scientists List

Stanford University recognized 52 researchers from Prince Sultan University on its prestigious list of the world’s top 2% of scientists. 25 were honored for career-long contributions, while 51 were recognized for their outstanding impact in 2024, marking a remarkable achievement for PSU.

The recognition is split into two categories:
- Career-Long Achievements: This category recognizes scientists worldwide for the overall impact of their research contributions throughout their entire careers up to 2024.
- Single-Year Achievements: This category highlights scientists whose research had a significant global impact in the year 2024.

The number of PSU researchers featured in the prestigious list has grown dramatically, from just 6 in 2020 to 52 in 2025. This eightfold increase over five years reflects PSU’s accelerating research momentum and its growing global impact.
