RIC Organizes Second Research Matchmaking Session to Promote Interdisciplinary Collaboration Among PSU Researchers
The Research and Initiatives Center (RIC) hosted its second Research Matchmaking Session on Monday, 20 October 2025, bringing together 10 researchers with expertise in a wide range of disciplines, including education, language, engineering, computer science, and AI. This diverse group explored intersections in their work and identified opportunities for joint projects in Education, Humanities, HealthTech, Bioinformatics, and EdTech. Participants represented research labs from the College of Sciences and Humanities, College of Computer and Information Sciences, and the College of Engineering, reflecting RIC’s ongoing commitment to fostering meaningful interdisciplinary collaboration.
The session opened with welcoming remarks from Prof. Dhafer Almakhles, RIC Director, followed by participant introductions and lively discussions on shared research interests. Attendees actively exchanged insights into ongoing projects, explored potential collaborations, and expressed enthusiasm for the initiative, highlighting its role in strengthening cross-disciplinary research at Prince Sultan University.
