Exceptions can be made for associate professors based on their records.

SELECTION CRITERIA

Having in mind that the purpose of recruiting Research Professors at PSU is to improve the ranking of the University and promote its research productivity and its research impact, then it is crucially important to look at the following performance metrics of the candidates, for having a short-list of selection. In 2020, the metrics for the recruitment of new research professors are:

RANK

The Research Professor should have a Full Professor position, with the criteria mentioned above. However, it is possible to consider Associate Professor candidates if they have outstanding achievements.

INTERVIEW & RECRUITMENT

If the candidate satisfies the criteria above, he will be interviewed by the college dean and the lab leader to further investigate his contributions to PSU if he joins.
