This page provides instructions for researchers on the process of leaving Prince Sultan
University.
Step 1: Notification

Inform Your Lab Leader: Initiate your departure process by notifying your lab
leader of your decision to leave.

Resource Return Confirmation: Confirm all research resources (equipment,
materials, data) have been returned to your lab leader or designated authority.
Step 2: Complete the Departure Form

Fill Out the Academic Form: To access the Academic Clearance Form and ensure
you have all necessary information,

Fill Out the Admin Form: To access the Admin Clearance Form and ensure you
have all necessary information,
click here.
Step 3: Obtain Necessary Signatures

Lab Leader Approval: Have your lab leader review and sign the form,
acknowledging your departure.

Additional Approvals: Ensure the form is also signed by all other parties
mentioned in the form. This may include department heads or supervisors relevant to
your research area.
Step 4: Final Submission

Submit to HR: Forward the signed form to the Human Resources (HR) department
at PSU. Please do so at least two weeks prior to your intended last
working day to ensure a smooth transition.
